| | About Myself:
I have professional and academic training in Fine arts from India. Experimenting with different types of medias and materials of art is one of major activity besides professional opportunities. Watercolors, oil paints, pencil, pen, Batik Painting are some of the medias I played with. Some of my recent works are Sketches done in black pen. I draw inspiration from India based Great Watercolor artists like Mr. Shivaji Tupe and Mr. Milind Mulik. Mr. Shivaji Tupe has a unique style of doing sketches with black pen. Mr. Milind Mulik, a renowned Watercolor Artist from India has doubtlessly created a place for in contemporary Indian art. In Watercolors I Iike to paint landscapes and still life. Beautiful Orchids also attract me to paint them in Watercolors. The favorite subjects in Batik Painting on Silk and cotton are orchids, fishes, Sunflowers, Macaws, Ganesha (Hindu god of knowledge).
The passion for Art was within me since childhood. In school I scored good percentage in drawing and craft effortlessly. I was always a part of all the design projects done for school. After the higher secondary school I decided to enroll to an art college since the only aim in life was to paint. I completed my Diploma in Fine arts 5 years later. Also acquired a master’s degree in the same subject. I left my job 2 years ago to return back to painting. Since then I have been busy with watercolors and sketching. Also I learnt batik and been regularly painting on silk and cotton. |
