| | I was born in Vietnam and I live in New Zealand. The first country I visited was New Zealand. My husband is a kiwi and the country I have chosen to spend the rest of my life is also New Zealand.
I started to paint when I was 7 years old. Many people who know me well told me that I have a special capability because I like to write poems, sing, and paint pictures. For me, painting is one of my special hobbies. Like a magician, I enjoy making my imagination become real. When I paint a picture, I live in a different world where I only can see the naturally beautiful world, no industrial zone, no urban areas, no noisy crowd and no heavy traffic. That is the world I have found in New Zealand. I want to show people how beautiful this country is!
I am not a commercial artist. I can’t paint a picture well if I can’t feel it. Like I write a poem or sing a song, I want to breathe my soul into my paintings, so that perhaps you can understand me through them.
I hope my words will help you understand my style and enjoy my artwork.
