|   | Description |   |
|   | I'm a secondary school teacher teaching product design and a multi media artist who paints in oils, sculpts in wood and photographs.
My paintings have mainly been panoramic landscapes of NZ mountains and beach scenes. Although I am currently working on something new. My sculpture background goes back to art school in Wanganui where I majored in clay, now I'm carving wood. Current exhibitions showing my sculpture were at the SculptureOnshore in Takapuna, and Live Wood Symposium at the Lake House Takapuna.
If you would like to see a large range of my work go to www.mikeldurel.spaces.live.com and for an extensive CV on www.thebigidea.co.nz also check out SculptureOnshore for the sculptures I had shown there. I've just put together another site www.mikeldurel.com |
